Did you hear that Trump picked a fight with the Australian Prime Minister and threatened to invade Mexico? Yes. That happened. His rant at the Mexican president was pretty racist and humiliating. He used the phrase "bad hombres" again.
I did what you're supposed to do in these situations. I apologized.

I will update you as Donald Trump insults more world leaders. Look, the guy is America's drunken second cousin, who can't go to a restaurant or a bar with the rest of us without assaulting someone or causing a disturbance. He's just not well. But we're stuck with him, and we'd better get used to it. For the sake of the country it would be the nice thing to do - the classy thing to do - if you let world leaders know that you're sorry.
It would demonstrate that many of us are decent folks who didn't vote for Donald Trump. It would also undercut Trump's authority as president, and that's necessary right now. People need to know he's a fluke, that he doesn't have a popular majority, and normal, intelligent people are doing everything they can to kick his hind out of office.
More that that, I believe it would drive Donald Trump into a rage. His followers are impervious to criticism, maybe. But the president is not. Trump is a sensitive little kitten of need and frailty wrapped in 230 lbs. of sputtering orange sociopath. If you poke that kitten, it will yowl.
